Hello blogosphere!
My name is Megan Oliveira. I'm the type of person that thinks a lot - probably much more than they should, and with this comes the curse of an overactive imagination. To get to sleep at night, I create fantasies of amazing things that would only occur in, well, fantasies, so that I may be transported off into dreamland. In some of these day dreams, I've fantasized the perfect summer only too often, and now that summer is here, I've decided to make 2010 the summer I've always dreamed of. Luckily, I'm beginning my vacations on a cruise through the eastern Caribbean with my best friend. Of course, wherever there is paradise, there is trouble in paradise. Life on the Freedom of the Seas hasn't been entirely perfect (you probably guessed that already- I'm on a cruise, and yet I'm sitting in an internet cafe that costs me 65 cents a minute and, I'm sure purposely, loads slower than my father's DSL computer that his friends literally put together out of pieces they found at the Portsmouth RI garbage dump).
My goal is to have a fantastic summer - whether I cook, shop, photograph, sleep, eat, work, or vacation. And I'm requesting that you, reader, provided you exist, come along on my quest with me.
